Overcoming my own health complications associated by food sensitivities and autoimmune diseases provided me with hard-won and extremely valuable first-hand knowledge on integrative wellness solutions. In a way, I was my own first client.
I know first-hand the difficulties of living with, get diagnosed with and then finding the root cause of autoimmune disease. But I also know the freedom felt and the burden that is lifted when you are able to find solutions that lead you to better health.
Once I was able to move from surviving to thriving with autoimmune disease, I became passionate about sharing what I learned with others. This passion led me to become a certified health coach and to subsequently become certified as an autoimmune coach to help others with autoimmune disease who are on the verge of losing faith in healthcare and cookie cutter wellness solutions.
What is Autoimmune Disease?
Autoimmune diseases are a family of more than 80 chronic, often incapacitating and, in many cases, life-threatening illnesses including Lupus, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Multiple Sclerosis, Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis, just to name a few.
Autoimmune disease occurs when your immune system starts attacking healthy tissue in your body instead of foreign invaders, like viruses and bacteria.
The area that’s being attacked determines which disease you’re diagnosed with. For example, Multiple Sclerosis is when the body is attacking the nervous system, and Hashimoto’s is when the thyroid is being attacked.
According to the National Institutes of Health, up to 23.5 million Americans (more than seven percent of the population) suffer from an autoimmune disease—and the prevalence is rising.
Autoimmune disease often takes years to be properly diagnosed and even after diagnosis, without the proper nutrition and lifestyle support, sufferers often fail to find wellness solutions that help mitigate their flares without proper support.
Everyone with autoimmune disease has different factors that triggers it, which makes it difficult to pinpoint the root cause for each person. Without knowing the root cause or causes, it makes it that much harder to live with the disease.
Because I understand from personal experience the challenges faced with autoimmune disease, I am able to guide others like me, create a customized holistic plan that unlocks their freedom from being shackled to their disease despite the associated challenges of fatigue, joint pain, concentration blocks, inflammation, hair loss, anxiety, and depression.

The Autoimmune Habitual Practice HEALth Program
In this 3-montnh program, we implement a holistic approach that trains you to recognize optimal health versus deficiencies, optimizes behaviors that demonstrate positive reform, and regulate and amend lifestyle management techniques that impede optimal health.
The foundation of this program is the Autoimmune Protocol. The Autoimmune Protocol is a diet that teaches you how to identify the foods you love that help YOUR immune system, so that you feel healthier, happier, and are better able to manage your autoimmune disease.
It works by first eliminating inflammation-causing foods that worsen autoimmune symptoms. Then, you gradually re-introduce foods based on how they work in YOUR body.
During these 3 months, we also begin to address the lifestyle habits of Sleep, Stress and Movement that are also critical to optimal autoimmune health.
During our time together, we move back to go forward by strategically working through the Autoimmune Protocol.
We assess the optimal way for you to individually walk-through AIP so that you can get guidance, support and answers to questions that may have deterred your success in the past.
You will be guided through Steps 1-3 of AIP with the help of me as your coach and strategist and support from others who are going through the program with you.
In addition, you will receive additional support for the habits you need to amend based on your assessments inital assessments.
How It Works
First, on my scheduling site, find the date and time available for you and book your Discovery Session.
Next, using my HIPPA compliant online system, complete a brief intake form that I will use to help guide our session.
Then, during our scheduled meeting, we will dig deeper into your intake form which I will have already reviewed. Based on my review, we will discuss the best next steps to move you forward on your journey to better health.
